Our comb glides through hair without breaking the coat or scratching the skin, capturing loose hair and debris. It leaves curly coats, such as Poodles and Bichons, mat-free and fluffy with a cute cotton-ball look. Long, straight, and wavy coats look shiny, silky, and smooth.
For at-home use and grooming professionals/show enthusiasts. Eye Envy ProGlide Detangling Comb can be used for line combing and checking brush work. Painlessly find tangles or areas that need attention, and prevent matting. Work out snarls, mats, and knots, especially in those hard-to-reach or difficult areas of armpits, behind ears, and hind legs on senior pets.
Crafted with 62 smooth, rounded carbon steel tines, the comb features a coarse side (4 mm apart) and a fine side (2 mm apart) and is ideal for all coat types, both cats and dogs. Use the wide-spaced side to gently detangle knots, then flip to refine with the finer side for a sleek, finished look.

Did you know?
Line brushing and combing are crucial for maintaining a healthy coat and preventing mats and tangles. It involves systematically brushing the dog's coat in sections, ensuring every hair, especially near the skin, is addressed. This technique helps remove loose undercoat and prevent painful mats from forming.
How to Use
Daily combing helps ward off mats and tangles, distributes natural oils, and removes dead undercoat. Be gentle, especially around sensitive areas like the belly, legs, and tail. Pay extra attention to areas prone to matting.
Use the coarse side first and brush in the direction of hair growth to avoid pulling or irritating the skin.
Follow with the finer side to help tease out smaller knots and achieve the perfect finish.
To line brush and comb, follow these steps:
Step 1: Create sections or 'lines' of coat. Part the coat down to the skin to create 1-3 finger-width sections. Brush the section methodically, working either down from the belly or up for volume.
Step 2: Mist the coat with brushing spray. Lightly mist each section with a brushing spray. This lubricates the coat, preventing damage, static, and conditioning as you go.
Step 3: Brush your section with a pin or slicker brush. Brush each section from root to tip. Maintain consistency by brushing from left to right across the section.
Step 4: Comb your section with your comb. Comb every hair from root to tip across the section. Start with the wide teeth, then finish with the fine teeth to ensure no tangles remain.
Step 5: Create a new section of coat. Once a section is thoroughly brushed and combed from root to tip, create a new, even section.
Step 6: Repeat until all sections are brushed and combed. Continue this methodical process across your entire dog until all the coat is perfectly brushed and combed.
